Welcome to Foothill Tree Service! We are a family owned and operated business for over 50 years. We have ISA Certified arborists and rigorously demand only best industry practices from our crews, and will never offer a service that you don’t need. Our certified arborists have gone through extensive training to better understand the best way to help your trees and have been T.R.A.Q. qualified by the International Society of Arborists (ISA) to provide Risk Assessments for your trees. Along with these qualifications, we are very proud to have been accredited by the T.C.I.A. as a company.

T.C.I.A. Accreditation is the only program of its kind in the tree care industry. The process evaluates businesses to ensure that professional practices and standards are met in every department and at every level of the company. Says Bob Rouse, TCIA’s chief program officer. “It shows customers that this is a model tree care company, the best in the area, and raises the bar for other tree care companies in the area.”

A notable part of our practice is our use of plant health care and our Smart Tree Plan. Plant health care is an excellent way to protect your trees against pests and fortify them. Our Smart Tree Plan is a proactive system that helps you budget for work to be done on your trees and check out the work that we will be doing on them, whether that be fertalization, pruning, weight reduction or removal.

In a beautiful environment, trees are usually the dominant focus of the landscape. Whether at home, at work or in nature, trees are universally associated with inspiration, relaxation and refreshment. Trees enhance the beauty of our environment, they moderate the extremes of weather and serve as long term reminders of events in our lives.

But factors such as drought, pollution, weather, changes in soil from construction and road building can shorten the lifespan of nature’s longest living creatures or weaken a tree enough so that of its branches become weak or start to die. It’s often hard to know when a tree is at greater risk of causing damage.

We employ certified arborists and experts to carefully help you determine what problems your trees are facing and then create sensible solutions based upon your tree’s needs. We know when to prune, when to treat and when we just need to remove a tree and replace it with a better suited replacement.

Why Choose an ISA Certified Arborist?

An ISA certified arborist has to go through years of continuous education and rigorous testing to understand the complexity of a tree’s needs, of their growth habits and tendencies, the pests that invade them and how to best stop them and how to properly and safely climb, treat, prune and care for your trees.

When one of our ISA certified arborists looks at your trees, you can be confident that he or she is well-versed in the science, diagnosis, and proper and safe treatment of your tree or trees.

Our crews are trained in the science of tree health and safety because you deserve only the best for your property. We follow the best practices of the International Society of Aboriculture and maintain a rigorous education and training program so we are always up to date.

Tree Removal and Clearing

All living creatures have a lifespan. Unhealthy conditions from poor soil, poor planting or care, natural disasters like drought, storms, floods and even pest invasions can shorten the lifespan of even the most treasured trees. While we desire first to fix tree problems so we can save trees, sometimes it is necessary to remove ones that have died, are a high risk for failure or have unfortunately already failed and cause damage. When that is the case, our tree crews are specially trained and equipped to safely and efficiently remove trees from your landscape.

We are experienced tree removal experts:

  • Dangerous removals
  • Hazardous locations like around power lines
  • Storm damage removals
  • Large projects
  • Dead trees
  • 24 hour emergency service
  • Lift truck and crane removals
