Tree Service Shingle Springs

Looking for a certified arborist near Shingle Springs, CA? Concerned about trees that need fertilization, pruning, or removal? Do you have pine trees that need bark beetle treatment? Our ISA certified arborists at Foothill Tree can assess your tree service needs and help you create a comprehensive service plan. We will never offer a service that you don’t need and rigorously demand only best industry practices from our crews. Our most recent accomplishment is to have reached our goal of becoming accredited by the T.C.I.A.

T.C.I.A. Accreditation is the only program of its kind in the tree care industry. The process evaluates businesses to ensure that professional practices and standards are met in every department and at every level of the company. Says Bob Rouse, TCIA’s chief program officer. “It shows customers that this is a model tree care company, the best in the area, and raises the bar for other tree care companies in the area.”

Shingle Springs was named for “a shingle mill that produced up to 16,000 shingles per day and cold springs which ran through the town.” It was established at the site of a mining camp by miners who had come to California. “Today, Shingle Springs has a population of 4,432 people. The federally-recognized Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians are headquartered here.”

Shingle Springs was and is a very beautiful place, full of rolling, golden hills and many trees. This area is full of blue oak, distinguished by their light gray bark and blue-green leaves, as well as gray pine, characterized by its gray-green needles. Today, due to the abundance of trees in this area, there is a considerable fire hazard. By maintaining a defensible space around your home, you can significantly reduce the threat to your home. We can take care of this through mastication of smaller trees and brush and by removal or trimming of your larger trees on your property.

Shingle Springs is between Placerville and Cameron Park and many of our clients located in this area are interested in taking care of their trees. We love working with people who love and care for their trees and the trees in the community. Our certified arborists have gone through extensive training specific to taking care of trees and first and foremost, the client’s safety.
